The Way to Teach Brown Rice at a Ricecooker
Can you cook brown rice in a rice cooker?
Since brown-rice is a lot higher in fiber than white rice, so you can not only comply with the "white rice" guidelines on the rice cooker or even the rice won't emerge rough, perhaps not as tender.
Scrub and drain two cups of brown rice.
Place it into the rice cooker. Rather than filling the stove with water into your "two cup" markers, then fill it into the "1 cup" mark on your rice cooker. That normally means 3 glasses of plain water to both cups of rice.
Insert a 1/2 tsp of sea salt.
Turn cooker.
Among our audiences, Pat Cooks, calculated many numbers for people.
1cup of rice 1.5cups of plain water
3 cups of rice 4.5cups of plain water
Many rice cookers possess a non invasive liner where the rice has been cooked. Miracle Stainless Steel Rice Cookers have a metal lining (as an alternative of suspicious non-toxic substances) that I like. This new are available in The Cookus Store.
